[Forewarning] This is NOT a “clean” recipe. I’m sure you know that I just recently competed in my first bikini competition. The one thing you look forward to is being able to indulge in naughty foods post-competition. Therefore, I wanted to post the trifle I made just for this. I’m hesitant to call this a “recipe” since it’s really just a matter of layering a bunch of yummy things.
Trifles are by far one of my favorite desserts. In fact, I love any kind of layered dessert. There’s something about having a mouthful of deliciousness that incorporates different flavors and textures that I absolutely love!
fudge brownie mix
vanilla instant pudding
mini reese’s peanut butter cup
peanut butter chips
1. Make the fudge brownie mix per the box’s instruction. I wanted to make mines extra peanut buttery so I added peanut butter chips to the batter. Once done put it in the fridge and allow it to cool completely.
2. While the brownie is cooling make the vanilla pudding per the box’s instruction. The box said to use water but I used unsweetened almond milk instead. I don’t know how much I put but just enough to give it a nice thick consistency.
3. Grab the cooled brownie from the fridge and cut them into medium-sized squares.
4. You’ll want to use a clear container so you can see the beautiful layers, I didn’t have trifle dish (clear cylinder container) so I used a bowl instead. Then layer the rest of the ingredients in the following order: chocolate brownie, vanilla pudding, peanut butter chips, chocolate syrup, cool whip, mini reese’s peanut butter cups. Repeat with one more layer.
